The Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna is a multifunctional complex for Congress, cultural and sports events. It's an important national landmark and an emblem of Varna ever since 1968. It has 6 multi-purpose halls, recreation centre, fitness centre, press centre and a modern shopping centre. The construction of the complex was officially completed in 1968. 

An interesting fact about it is that in Africa there is an exact design copy of the Palace of Culture and Sports, only much bigger in size than the one in Varna. That's right! Its impressive twin in Nigeria happens to be four times bigger than the Bulgarian original.
