Description

The Park - Monument of the Bulgarian-Soviet Friendship was built in 1978 in honour of the Soviet Army, as a symbol of friendship between the two nations. The monument was built on top of Turna Hill (in the northernmost part of Varna), at a height of 110 metres. This is currently the biggest monument in the whole Varna region. The inscriptions on it give you an idea about the historical tie between Bulgaria and Russiа from the years of 1774 to 1994.

The Park - Monument of the Bulgarian-Soviet Friendship is a place which has been a battlefield for many years and where many men died fighting capitalism and fascism. If you do a research about the history between Russia and Bulgaria, you will find some very interesting facts.
