Description
The Navy Club was built at the end of the 19th century to the design of two architects - Todor Boyadzhiev of Varna and the Frenchman Piera, and inaugurated on December 10th, 1900. The first New Year's grand ball in Varna after the Liberation of 1878, on the occasion of the new century's coming in, was organized at the Club.
The imposing building has an incredible architectural style and is certainly worth seeing if you're passing by the centre of Varna. It is located just opposite the Cathedral at a corner of two important boulevards - Maria Louisa and Vladislav Varnenchik. At night the Navy Club is even more stunning!
